Okay, technically it wasn't a reunion, but the funeral of Mark's Grandma Tooley who passed away last week at 91. On the bright side, Saoirse got to see a lot of relatives from out of town and even some in town that we don't get to see often. So often I'm finding, that this baby brings light to even the most solemn occasions. :)

Bed Fail

I made a weak attempt to get Saoirse to sleep in this beautiful antique crib/toddler bed that I slept in as a toddler at my Grandparents house. She liked the bed itself, but not the fact that Mama was not able to lay in it with her so that she could have "nuppies." lol.
So now we have a queen+king MEGA mattress on the floor that takes up most of the room. It's pretty awesome. I don't know if we'll ever get to use this bed which is sort of sad, I have good memories of it. We have sort of a unique approach to the sleeping situation so I'm not going to make a thing of it. at least i have this super cute picture! :)
