We finally got a cool-down here in KC thanks to a Mega Thunderstorm last night but I bet it won't last. :( Mark and I are really really really excited for fall to be here soon!

We finally got around to painting this spring and I'm still questioning my choice of paint colors...but here are some pictures. (I'll get pictures of the rest when I clean that part of the house! LOL.)
Also, my friend Jenni who does lots of mosiac art, came over on Friday nite to show me how do to this: ( after Step One; cutting and gluing) (that's blue painter's tape stuck to a picture frame)
We cut and broke our own pieces from scrap glass scavenged from a stained glass artist. My piece was a very abstract "whale in the sea" sort of thing (try tipping your head to the right). hmmmm...maybe it will look better when it is finished. lol.I think this is my new favorite thing EVER! It's kind of violent! very UN-knitting. :)
